Transform your forever family home with Crittal® Style Bi-fold Doors – the contemporary look that’s right on trend

As another lockdown lingers and we look forward to sunnier days, many of us have a new appreciation for our homes and gardens and the comfort they can bring.

While we are not enjoying the space in the same way, you can still bring the outdoors in and enjoy your garden all year round while keeping the cold weather outside where it belongs.

Origin Bi-fold doors create a seamless link between your home, garden, or patio area, giving you an uninterrupted view, while creating light and space – and adding value to your home.

We are a Premium Partner of Origin – the UK’s leading manufacturer of aluminium doors and windows – which means we are an approved installer for every aspect of their range, including the stunning on-trend Georgian bar finish.

A style to suit every taste

If you have been looking for new windows or doors recently, you will have no doubt come across a look known as Crittal®, Georgian, or Astragal bars. In fact, once you’re aware of the style, you’ll start seeing it everywhere. Classical, modern, commercial, or minimalist, whether an internal or external door, it complements any type of home.

Either set inside sealed units of glass or installed on top, bars are placed depending on the look you would like to achieve – a grid being more traditional, horizontal lines more contemporary, and repeated diamonds more classical. Whichever you choose, the addition of bars changes the feel of any space, bringing a sense of security, depth, and snugness, while still welcoming vast expanses of light.

We are now seeing a growing trend for Georgian bars to feature on Origin Bi-fold doors, as the style complements their slimline frames.

Why choose Origin’s premium aluminium bi-folds?

Created bespoke, Origin Bi-folds range from 1-8 door sets, and each individual panel can be manufactured from 400mm-1200mm wide and up to 3,000mm tall.

Designed to operate to suit your needs, Origin’s Bi-folds ensure safety for all the family, featuring finger safe gaskets to stop little fingers from getting trapped and low thresholds to remove tripping hazards.

While aluminium frames may be 67% lighter than steel, aluminium is incredibly strong, and the Origin range of Bi-fold Doors exceeds the latest security standards – so you can let the light flood in and keep unwanted visitors out.
