New awning fabric collection offers vivid variety in a compact format

A wide range is the common credo when it comes to fulfilling customers’ wishes. But there is also another approach – as demonstrated by awning manufacturer markilux. The company’s current cover fabric collection “collection one” is an exciting mix of trendy and classic patterns. And it is in a completely new, slim-line form that is gentle on the material.

To date, markilux has always replaced a large number of its more than 200 cover patterns by new ones every five years. But with its “collection one”, the awning specialist is now taking a different approach. In its choice of patterns, it is now combining current trends with long-lasting, proven classics. In this way, the collection protects resources, retains a lean structure yet is still up to date. 40 stylish fabrics with special effects woven into the material, brightly striped patterns or block stripes in a retro look from the exclusive “visutex“ collection range complement a fine selection of 110 enduring basic patterns. These are available in the material qualities sunvas and sunbow in seven colour families. It is possible to choose between plain colours, textured patterns and classic stripes. And then there are special fabrics that provide protection from the heat, glare and also rain. For the exclusive “visutex“ covers, woven exclusively for markilux, there are five colour trends setting the tone this year: pastel green, dark blue, light beige along with silver and black. New patterns will be added over the next few years, while others will be discontinued. That makes the collection exciting and vibrant, but at the same time well-structured and compact, as it requires less material which is good for the environment.
