ALAN TITCHMARSH INTERVIEWS THE DUCHESS OF EDINBURGH ABOUT HER GARDEN

DESIGN FOR THE ROYAL WINDSOR FLOWER SHOW

By Improve’s cover journalist Angela Sara West @angela_sara_west

HRH the Duchess of Edinburgh is co-designing a very special feature garden at the annual Royal Windsor Flower Show this month, in collaboration with Alan Williams of Landform Consultants.

The ‘Plants with Purpose Garden’ will highlight the importance of healthy soil and pollinators, plus an understanding of how food is grown, also reflecting The Duchess’s love of gardening and passion for encouraging people to grow plants “with purpose”.

A much-loved family day out, the ever-popular Windsor Flower Show takes place on Saturday 6th June at The York Club in Windsor Great Park, offering a wonderful, family day out celebrating gardening, nature, cookery, traditional crafts and good old-fashioned fun.

Visitors can also look forward to:

• Great British Plant Nurseries
• Show Gardens
• Master Gardeners & Garden Makers Competitions
• Lots for little horticulturalists, too!
